We're riggers. Everything else comes from that.

Most industrial moves don't go wrong during the lift — they go wrong in the gaps between companies. The rigger blames the trucking company, the trucking company blames the installer, and you're stuck making phone calls. We started Badass Logistics in 2022 to close those gaps, starting with the hardest part of the job: the rigging.

We own the rigging side — the crews, the jacks, skates, gantries, and slings, and the planning. That covers every kind of rigging: machinery moving, plant relocation, MRI and medical equipment, crane lifts, jacking and skidding, millwright installation, and data center, chiller, and transformer work.

How rigging turned into project freight

Rigging jobs create freight. A machine rigged out of one plant has to get to another. An imported production line lands in containers before we can set it. A plant relocation needs dozens of trucks arriving in install order. We kept watching that freight get booked separately and show up at the wrong time, so we started running it ourselves as project freight — container to warehouse, crating and packing, and dedicated lanes — planned together with the rigging.

We're clear about what that is and isn't. It's project-based: freight tied to a relocation, an install, or an equipment package. We don't sell one-off loads, and we don't own trucks. Transport runs on our network of licensed broker and carrier partners, coordinated inside the project plan.

And why we dispatch for fleets

All that project work means we have offices, relationships with shippers and manufacturers, and a steady flow of freight through our network. Trucking companies running four or more trucks can put their fleet on our dispatch desk and get covered with that freight, plus a full back office. We don't take owner-operators — the desk is built to plan lanes across a fleet.

Where we work

Badass Logistics runs a nationwide network of 88 locations covering all 50 states — from Texas and California to Montana and New York. Jobs go to the crew nearest the work, and moves between facilities stay with one accountable team from the first measurement to the final set. How we work

Every job is an engineering problem first — weights, centers of gravity, doorways, floor loading, and sequence written down before anything moves — then executed like a road crew. That's how the jobs other companies pass on get done on schedule.
